Neca’s Kitchen: Authentic Mexican Seafood Experience in Santa Clarita

This is a great place for authentic Mexican food. Nice Veggie options. My favourite is Hurarche

I love the flavor of the food here. The owner is very considerate and wants to make your experience the best so that you keep on coming back! Allow time for eating if you plan to dine in, or call ahead if you plan to take your order to go, as they make everything fresh!

Looking for real authentic and traditional Mexican cuisine in the SCV , you got to stop by NECA for some amazing food . We had the Mojarra Frita , a Cóctel de Campechana and tacos de cabeza and tacos de carne asada , everything was fresh with tortillas hechas a mano / handmade tortillas and great salsa to go with it all .

I was visiting my hometown of Santa Clarita with my British husband who has never really tried Mexican cuisine and we decided to stop into Neca's Kitchen—what a wonderful surprise it turned out to be! Not only was the food absolutely delicious, but I discovered that the kind and helpful owner is the father of one of my old high school friends. We graduated together and even joined the military around the same time, so it was such an unexpected and heartwarming connection to stumble upon. As for the food—my husband had his very first tamale and enchilada, and he absolutely loved them! I tried menudo for the first time myself, and it was rich, flavorful, and prepared with so much care. Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and made with love. When you step through the door into the beachy ambience you can tell that Neca’s Kitchen is more than just a restaurant—it’s a place that brings people together with warm hospitality and delicious food. We left with full stomachs and full hearts. Highly recommend to anyone in the area, whether you’re a local or just passing through.

Previously a known as Villa Maria’s this place place has been a Newhall hidden gem for many years. Now under new ownership Neca’s now has been remodeled into a full restaurant while still functioning as a local store as well. Clearly a local favorite the place typically fills up on the weekends as friends and families come in to enjoy delicious mariscos and micheladas. Highly recommend the aguachiles , michelada , chicharon de pescado , and caldo de res!

My mom love their menudo, I have mojara frita is really good but the tamales is dry, service is so good and polite people here, parking is kind of tricky you need to pass the light and turn right.
